Board of Trustee's Meeting

August 7, 2013

Call to Order:

Roll Call: Jason, Jessica, Karilyn, Lori, and Kris were present

Secretary's Report:

Librarian's Report:

  • Nine children and several adults attended the Dinosaur Dig activity for the SLP on July 15th.  They made dinosaur marionettes, read books about dinosaurs, and dug for dinosaurs through shredded paper.  Afterwards, kids checked out books and movies.
  • Eight children have completed the SLP out of the 24 who had registered over the summer.  The program ended July 31st.
  • Kris sent a picture and short article to the Gowrie News about our new children's furniture.  She also put up a picture in the Post Office and the bank along with an announcement about the furniture.
  • July 29th we had Tami Mohr from Calhoun County Health talk about cancer incidence in Calhoun County.  Eight people attended the program.
  • The Library will be closed Old Settler's Day, August 10th.
